The Central Region Internship Cohort (CRIC) is a 10-week collaborative experience, providing hands-on ministry in a local church, and shared learning in a group setting.

  • CRIC is available to anyone who is enrolled in a college/university who is looking for an internship opportunity in a ministry setting.

  • CRIC is a 10-week internship program, running May 20-August 2. (dates may be flexible depending on situation)

  • The Central Region of The Missionary Church serves 62 churches that span from Bloomington, IN up to Madison, WI. Summer 2023 participants will be placed in a cohort based in: Fort Wayne, Chicago, or Wabash Valley.

  • Kids, Students, Adult, Worship, Outreach, Business, Tech, etc…

You will get to see a variety ministries within the church, as we help you develop your giftings and passion.

  • Expectations for each CRIC participant will be: serve full-time at a Home Church that you will be placed at, take part in (4) Cohort Training Days, serve at (1) of the Central Region Summer Camps, and meet bi-weekly with Travis (CRIC Director and NextGen Ministries Coordinator for The Central Region) for coaching.

  • First and foremost, we believe that you will grow closer in your relationship with Jesus. Beyond that, you will build relationships that could last a lifetime, get hands-on experience at a local church, receive training from seasoned pastors, and take part in a unique cohort experience where you will walk through your internship with other like-minded students.

  • When you serve in an internship cohort model: you get to be part of a variety of ministry experiences, you will be trained by multiple excellent leaders/pastors, you will brainstorm and grow with other interns serving in similar situations, and you have access to a “boss” that doesn’t work at your Home Church whom you can go to with problems/concerns/questions.

✔️ PAID - CRIC is a paid-internship program

✔️ HOUSING - CRIC will help secure housing for the summer

✔️ FED - CRIC will provide a weekly food stipend

✔️ CREDIT - CRIC will help you fulfill hours needed for college credit or practicum

“I enjoyed the community with the other interns and getting to know other people that are in the same walk of life trying to figure out where God is calling them.”
